Burkina Faso is one of the poorest and most underdeveloped countries in the world, with lagging electricity infrastructure, leaving the vast majority of rural areas without access to power and making life extremely challenging for the population. However, Burkina Faso is rich in solar resources, providing favorable conditions for solar power generation.
In 2023, our company was involved in electrification projects in four rural areas of Burkina Faso, primarily to provide off-grid solar power storage systems for these remote rural communities. After conducting research and considering the local population, our engineers recommended 5KW-20KW off-grid system,this system can supply enough power for the community. After our video guiding,the local engineers installed four sets of off-grid solar power systems in four rural area, selecting the most suitable locations for the installation of photovoltaic panels,hybrid inverter and lithium battery.
After six months of testing and operation, these four systems are now operating normally in the remote rural areas. Local villagers can now use lights and various electrical appliances in the evening, breaking free from the previous state of darkness after sunset.
Our project received praise from the officials during the local government’s inspection.Inspectors were surprised by the excellent performance of our system during the inspection. In Africa, the quality of products provided by suppliers varies, and they often encounter substandard products. However, he mentioned that the off-grid power generation system provided by our company is one of the most outstanding systems he has ever seen.
