The stabilisation Facility for Libya (SFL) was launched in April 2016 as a vehicle for supporting the Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA). The SFL is implemented by the United Nations Development programme (UNDP). As a pivotal component of the SFL, the solar street light project garnered global attention, attracting competition from renowned solar street light companies worldwide. After rigorous rounds of competition, INLUX emerged victorious, showcasing our high-quality products, competitive prices, and a stellar reputation earned through our previous successful collaborations with the UNITED NATIONS. We have produced 2500 sets of solar street lights for this project, each of which embodies our ultimate pursuit of craftsmanship and strict requirements for quality.
Libya’s natural environment is mainly sand and gravel, which poses a huge challenge to the stability and wind resistance of street lamps. Customers have extremely high requirements for the workmanship of the products, which is not only a test of our manufacturing capabilities, but also a challenge to our teamwork and innovation capabilities.
At the beginning of the project, our team of engineers conducted in-depth research on the local climate and geological conditions. After detailed calculations and simulations of the depth and wind resistance of the anchor cage, we designed a anchor cage structure that is both stable and durable. This structure can withstand the erosion of strong winds and sand and gravel, ensuring the long-term stability of the street lamps.
During the production process, we conduct strict quality control on each set of street lamps. From the selection of materials to every welding point, we strive to do our best. Our workers ensure the perfect quality of each set of street lamps with superb craftsmanship and attention to detail.
After production was completed, we responded quickly to the customer’s request for fast transportation. Every day, our logistics team would arrange for 3 containers to be loaded at the same time to ensure the timely delivery of the products. This is not only a race against time, but also a test of our logistics coordination ability.
When all 2,500 sets of street lights were successfully loaded into the container, we all breathed a sigh of relief. This is not only the completion of a production task, but also a symbol of our team’s efforts and commitment. Each set of street lights carries our commitment to customers, our insistence on quality, and our expectations for the future.
Today, these solar street lights have illuminated the roads in the towns of Benghazi, Ubari, Sebha, and Tawargha in Libya, bringing light and hope to local residents. UNDP Resident Representative in Libya, Mr. Gerardo Noto, declared:”This project is not only contributing to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDG7 (Affordable and clean energy) but is also helping to improve security and reduce crimes, facilitating economic activities thus enhancing social cohesion and benefitting people from several municipalities in southern Libya. ”
Our efforts have been recognized by our customers and have won us more trust and respect. This is not only the success of a project, but also the victory of our team spirit and professional ability.
