In Hlaingbwe town and other areas of Kaye State, Myanmar, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and its partners are implementing a critical solar street light installation project aimed at improving the nighttime safety and quality of life for displaced populations. INLUXSOLAR, as a global leader in solar lighting solutions, is honored to announce that it has provided 1000 sets of high-efficiency solar street lights to UNHCR. These street lights have now been put into use in over ten refugee camps in Myanmar, bringing light and hope to local communities at night.

In 2022, UNHCR and its partners provided housing assistance to over 2700 internally displaced families in Kachin State, with INLUXSOLAR actively involved in providing lighting support. More than 6000 internally displaced persons have benefited from the construction and maintenance of 21 public halls in the camp, all equipped with INLUXSOLAR lighting systems.

From early 2023 to March, UNHCR partners made significant contributions in 22 community projects in Kaye and Shan states (southern). More than 21000 people have benefited from these community infrastructure projects, including solar street lights provided by INLUXSOLAR, which play a crucial role in key areas such as schools, roads, and water tanks.
Last month, UNHCR installed over 170 sets of solar street lights supplied by INRUXSOLAR in four villages in Pinnaung and His Hseng towns in southern Shan State. These street lights not only provide convenience for local residents’ nighttime activities, but also significantly enhance their sense of security.
INLUXSOLAR’s generous donation further expanded the coverage of solar street lights, ensuring that over 1500 people benefited from this aid. Our solar street lights provide Myanmar refugees with a safer and more dignified living space due to their high efficiency and environmental friendliness.

Faced with the severe situation in Myanmar, the number of newly displaced persons has now reached 1.5 million. INLUXSOLAR, together with UNHCR and its partners, continues to provide core rescue supplies and shelter support to support refugee protection work through practical actions.
INLUXSOLAR focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of solar lighting products. We are committed to providing sustainable lighting solutions to regions in need worldwide through innovative technologies, improving people’s living conditions, and lighting up the path of hope. We believe that every beam of light can illuminate a dream, and every aid can warm a soul.

In the application scenario in Myanmar, high requirements are placed on the performance of solar street lights due to climate and sunlight conditions. Myanmar belongs to a tropical monsoon climate with abundant sunshine, but the climate is variable. In addition, the road conditions in Myanmar also bring additional considerations to the installation and maintenance of streetlights. After professional consideration and calculation, we have chosen the AIT6 solar street lamp, which has a wide illumination range and high brightness, making it particularly suitable for rural roads or long-distance lighting.

Although we quickly completed production, the shipping process encountered numerous obstacles. Due to the resurgence of the civil war in Myanmar, our products were stored in the warehouse for a year before they could be shipped. Although the wait for this year was long, the final installation effect proved that our patience was worth it.
After installation, these solar street lights effectively solved the local nighttime lighting problem, greatly facilitating the lives of local residents. They not only provide necessary lighting, but also help improve road safety, promote nighttime economic activities, and bring tangible benefits to local communities.
